Cannes, France - From 13 to 15 November, MAPIC 2019 will take place at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. The annual international retail real estate event brings together the most important players in the retail real estate industry and offers them the opportunity to exchange ideas on current trends and developments. 

This year, the MAPIC visitor list includes around 8,500 participants from 80 countries. As a transactional marketplace, MAPIC offers a platform for investors, developers, retailers and franchise partners to explore strategic markets through international partners and contacts. The conference program is under the motto "Retail Remixed" and offers lectures on developments in logistics due to changing consumer behaviour patterns as well as on the challenges this poses for the logistics industry. Changes in urban planning with regard to the restructuring of transport, entertainment and communication networks as well as the role of the retail trade within these new structures will also be discussed.
